Labec's Temperature and Humidity Chambers are manufactured in Australia with high control systems and quality stainless steel for easy maintenance and excellent durability. Ideal for applications such as plant germination and culture growth or where refrigeration, heating, humidity and diurnal control is required.
Suitable for environmental testing applications, environmental conditions can be accurately reproduced and controlled. An air flow system combined with the heating system with submerged elements provides excellent temperature uniformity with fluctuation +/-1°c and relative humidity fluctuation +/-2%. The digital microprocessor based PID temperature controller controls the temperature within the range +10°C to 50°C (optionial 80°C) and humidity (temperature dependent) within the range of 10% to 90% RH (optional 95%RH).
Relative Humidity is achieved using the internal water trough for humidification and refrigeration system for active dehumidification. Water supply is automatically kept full using mains pressure or tank water fed via gravity. The unit can also be used for temperature only and the humidity system switched off. Humidity display is in clear digital display on the front screen next to the temperature display.
When optioned the controller can be connected via RS232/RS458 communication ports which can be connected directly to a data logger or computer to collect this information. Software is available for monitoring and temperature control.
